Webinar: the Future of the World Economy after the COVID Crisis

The economic crisis brought about by Covid-19 will cast a shadow over the next decade. It has triggered the sharpest cyclical downturn for at least a century, and highlighted serious fissures in structure of the world economy. But it has also set in motion a wave of technical advances as governments, businesses and individuals have adapted to the shock. This lecture looks at the likely profile of the economic recovery, the impact on the relationship between the major players in the developed and emerging worlds, and the ways in which these technical advances are likely to change the workplace, peoples' lifestyles, and societies more generally.
