RES-GES Webinar on Racial Inequalities

02 Jun 2021

On Monday 21 June, RES and the Government Economic Service (GES) will host a webinar on racial inequalities with Professor Glenn Loury.

Understanding racial inequalities creates huge challenges for the social sciences. It is important to think about both the conceptual and empirical issues for the way that we study economics and analyse economies and societies. Glenn Loury is one of the leading economists working in this space. His work has contributed powerful conceptual frameworks for studying racial inequalities which he will discuss in the webinar and which go to the heart of contemporary policy debates.
