Call for Nominations: RES Council and President-Elect

16 Aug 2021

RES members are invited to propose names for both the RES Council (for the period Spring 2022-2027) and President-Elect for Spring 2023-2024, then President 2024-2025. The latter will follow Mary Morgan, who has been confirmed as President-Elect 2022-2023 and President 2023-2024.

Any member of the RES who would like to make a nomination should email the Secretary-General at RESoffice@res.org.uk by 15 October 2021. When making a nomination, please provide your name, the nominee’s name and their affiliation, together with either their CV summary or a link to their online CV. Self-nominations are welcome for possible Council membership. You can view the current Council membership and list of former Presidents on the RES website.

The RES Nominations and Appointments Committee will meet in early November 2021 to consider all nominations received. From these, the Committee will agree a list of twelve names for the Council Elections. This list will then be subject to a ballot of all RES members early in 2022 in order to elect six new members of Council. The Nominations and Appointments Committee will also agree a Presidential nomination which will be presented to the RES Council. The successful candidates will join Council and be ratified as President-Elect after formal adoption at the Society's 2022 AGM.

If you require any further details, please contact the RES Office: RESoffice@res.org.uk.
