Research Dissemination Grants

Research Dissemination Grants (formerly Special Project Grants) provide funding up to a maximum of £2,000 for activities involving the discussion and dissemination of economic research. The activities may include the organisation of workshops, mini-conferences, short seminar series, and could be on-line entirely or in part. The purpose is to bring together a group of researchers from different institutions focusing on a specific area of interest and promote its development and understanding among the research community. Please note that funding of research projects or research assistance is excluded.

The deadline for applications is the 21 May 2021.

What can I apply for under the Research Dissemination Grant?

The scheme can support one-off single events or short series on a specific topic or provide seed funding to help initiate the first of a series of events; it is not designed to provide funding for an event within an established series. The Society aims to fund events across the breadth of the subject and applications are welcome for events concerned with pedagogic research in economics.

See the description above for the overall objective of the grant.
