Pathways to Economics is a 2-day series of mini-workshops at the University of Warwick, supported by the RES through the Discover Economics grant, to open the eyes of Year 10 and 11 students from local schools to the exciting subject of economics and to help them gain a better understanding of what economics is at a crucial stage of their education, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their A-Level choices and their journey to University.

In this interactive session, Professor Caroline Elliot will present a short taster session on economics followed by a Q&A where students are encouraged to ask questions about studying economics at University.

Pathways to Economics: From GCSE - Your Student Journey to University
In this interactive panel discussion event, you will hear from Maths and Economics Teachers discuss what studying these subjects at A Level will involve and hear three current economics students from Warwick discuss how the skills they learned at A Level helped their transition into Univeristy. You will also be able to submit your own questions to our panel.

Careers in Economics
In this session designed for parents, our panel of speakers Dr Atisha Ghosh (Academic Careers Coordinator), Dr Amira Elasra (Senior Tutor), Chrissie Cooper (Student Funding Advisor for Outreach) will discuss the various career opportunities for economics graduates; how we prepare students to acquire the right skills and knowledge through the modules they study; what academic and pastoral support students receive and student finance.
