These include guests from TikTok, the African Development Bank and Goldman Sachs. Perfect for Careers Leaders, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Business Studies and Computer Science teachers to share with students. For those who can't make it to the live event you can register and get access to the video in an on demand nature.
About the speakers:
Astrid is an urban economist currently working as a long-term consultant with the African Development where she is supporting cities across Africa to strengthen their financial systems, with a focus on unleashing new opportunities for sub-national financing. Her previous roles include Policy Director and Head of the Cities that Work initiative at the International Growth Centre.
Joshua Ogundu is a product operations lead at TikTok, the world’s leading destination for short-form mobile videos. Ogundu’s work led to the release of TikTok’s photosensitive epilepsy feature warning and toggle as well as TikTok’s age verification for their Creator Fund.
Ndubisis (Dubi) is currently an electronic sales trading analyst at Goldman Sachs having graduated from the University of Bristol. Ndubisis is also the founder of youth mentorship platform Strength From Within which has the goal of empowering students to embrace their uniqueness.
