Standards of Conduct Committee

The Standards of Conduct Committee is responsible for the review and investigation of complaints received under its Complaints Policy for dealing with alleged breaches of the Society’s Code of Conduct. 

Tina Fahm

Tina Fahm is the CEO of an international consulting firm that advises investors on business expansion into Africa. She has over 30 years’ experience in governance, risk and compliance across emerging markets in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Tina has served on the governing council of the London School of Economics and Political Science and as Commissioner at the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI), reporting directly to the UK Parliament.

Joe Grice

Joe is a former Director of Macroeconomic Policy at HM Treasury, Chief Economist & Executive Director at the ONS, and Deputy Head of the GES. He has been chairman of the EU Economic Policy Committee and was an ex officio member of the EU's Ministerial Council. He was also elected chairman of the OECD's Committee on Macroeconomic & Structural Policy Issues. Currently, he is the co-chair of a 5 year project to promote natural capital accounting and policy. He is also a former RES Council Member.

Dr Noah Kofi Karley

Noah (Kofi) is Associate Professor responsible for Building African Links, Profile and Partnerships, and Deputy Head of School in the School of Economics, Finance and Law at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. Noah is a Land Economist with experience of teaching and researching property and urban systems from an interdisciplinary (but predominantly economic) perspective. Noah is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Clare Potter

Clare is a former solicitor and Deputy High Court Judge. Her career has focused on competition and trade law and utility regulation. As a partner at international law firm Simmons & Simmons she advised clients in the regulated sectors, regulators and governments on structuring of privatisations. After a period as General Counsel to the Competition Commission she was appointed to the Competition Appeal Tribunal in 2011. Currently a member of the Ofgem RIIO2 Challenge Group.

Professor Neil Rickman

Neil is Professor of Economics at the University of Surrey. He has been Chair of CHUDE and RES Conference Secretary, and was a member of the Economics and Econometrics sub-panel in the recent REF exercise.
