RES Newsletter

Welcome to the Homepage of the RES Newsletter. The RES Newsletter exists in two forms:

RES Newsletter Online

The RES Newsletter Online links different sections of the RES website. Regular content from the online version, such as correspondence, discussion, features and obituaries, are available from the online archive of previous issues. Archiving occurs in the same cycle as the publication of the paper copy of the Newsletter.

Selected items from earlier issues now online

The first issue of the Newsletter to appear on line was no. 156, January 2012. For earlier Newsletters we are making selected items available on line. The issues and dates so far covered can be seen under ‘Previous Issues’. If readers are aware of items from these earlier issues that they would like to see added, they should email the Newsletter’s editor.

RES Newsletter Print Version

The RES Newsletter Print Version, available also as a downloadable pdf document, brings together current content in a format similar to that of the traditional RES Newsletter, a paper copy of which continues to be emailed out to members of the RES on a regular cycle.

The Newsletter is first and foremost a vehicle for the dissemination of news and comment of interest to its readers. Contributions from readers are always warmly welcomed. We are particularly interested to receive letters for our correspondence page, reports of conferences and meetings, and news of major research projects as well as comment on recent events. Readers might also consider the Newsletter a timely outlet for comments upon issues raised in the Features section of The Economic Journal.  Please send items for the Conference Diary to the RES Office.
