The Economic Journal offers accepted authors the option to make their article available to non-subscribers using Wiley's OnlineOpen service. You can find out more about the OnlineOpen service here.
When an accepted paper has been submitted to the publishers for processing, the submitting author will receive an email asking them to login to Wiley's Author Services. Here authors will have the opportunity to select whether they wish to use the OnlineOpen service. Author Services will present the author with the relevant copyright form(s) to sign depending on their needs. There will also be the opportunity to make a payment if necessary.
If the OnlineOpen option is not selected, the submitting author will be presented with a Copyright Transfer Agreement to sign. The terms and conditions of the CTA are available on the Wiley website.
If the OnlineOpen option is selected, the submitting author will have a choice of the following Creative Commons Licence Open Access Agreements (OAA).
Creative Commons Attribution Licence OAA (CC-BY Licence)
Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Licence OAA (CC-BY-NC Licence)
Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial- NoDerivs Licence OAA (CC-BY-NC-ND Licence)
