Guests staying within University accommodation

On-campus accommodation is provided in Reid and Tuke Buildings (see buildings 42 and 9 on the campus map) and the HUB (building 41).

Checking In

The check in time on Sunday is 2pm. Guests arriving on Sunday should proceed to the HUB reception to check-in. Guests arriving and registering for the conference on Monday or Tuesday can check in at the HUB from 9:30am.

The reception at the HUB is open 24hrs a day and will be able to provide information about the local area and the accommodation on campus.

Internet / Phone calls

Delegates will have complimentary broadband internet, for this they will need to provide LAN cables as the University does not provide this item. Delegates wishing to make or receive phone calls can do so from card operated payphones located at the reception of the Founders Building.

The international dialing code for the UK is +44. If you are receiving a call from abroad to a landline then the person dialing out must replace the first number in the area code (this is always a 0) with 0044.

***Important note about UK Power****

The UK uses 240v power supply, no provision will be made by conference organizers to supply power converters therefore if you are bringing electrical equipment delegates must bring a power plug converter.

Guests will have use of parking spaces in car parks 4, 6 and 12 on the campus map.

Leisure facilities on campus

Those guests staying within the University accommodation will have complimentary use of the leisure facilities on campus including gymn. Facilities are located behind the Gowar and Wedderburn Halls.
