The Keynote Lectures will be given by:

Professor Hilary Hoynes – Economic Journal Lecture Hilary Hoynes is a Professor of Public Policy and Economics at Berkeley University and holds the Haas Distinguished Chair in Economic Disparities. She is a co-editor of the American Economic Review.  Hoynes specialises in the study of poverty, inequality, and the impact of government tax and transfer programmes on low income families.

Professor Gita GopinathHahn Lecture


Gita Gopinath in the John Zwaanstra Professor of International Studies and of Economics at Harvard University. She is a managing-editor of the Review of Economic Studies, and co-editor of the current Handbook of International Economics.


Gopinath’s research focuses on International Finance and Microeconomics.


Professor Jim StockSargan Lecture


James H. Stock is the Harold Hitchings Burbank Professor of Political Economy, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and member of the faculty at the Harvard Kennedy School.


His research areas are empirical macroeconomics, monetary policy,   econometric methods, and energy and environmental policy.
