The City of Brighton and Hove offers a wide range of accommodation and, since the University of Sussex is a short journey from the city centre, many options are available to delegates attending the 2016 Royal Economic Society conference. You are welcome to make your own arrangements if you wish.
You may, however, find it convenient to organise accommodation through our partner VisitBrighton (the city’s tourist information bureau), which is the official accommodation provider for RES 2016. Rooms have been secured through VisitBrighton at a selection of hotels across the city at specially negotiated delegate rates, with the greatest choice of rooms available to those who book early.
All rooms are held on an on-line system, allowing you to book and secure your own accommodation. Rooms are available through this site from the evening of Friday 18th March, 2016 to Thursday 24th March, 2016 (inclusive), so that you can come early (or stay a little longer) to enjoy the many attractions that Brighton has to offer.
You can book your conference accommodation through VisitBrighton here until 13th March.
You are strongly advised to book accommodation by February 21st, since some hotels may remove their rooms from the site if unsold by then.
If you require any assistance with your reservation, support is available via the Visit Brighton Accommodation Booking Team.
For accommodation enquiries please call the Accommodation Booking Team on 01273 292626/ 4514 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
