The Economic Journal Conference Volume is published once a year in May. The conference volume is edited by the main Editorial Board of The Economic Journal.
Papers are only eligible for consideration for publication if they have been accepted and presented at the Conference in that year. Turn around times for the conference volume are very swift with final decisions made between July and September for publication in the following May issue. Promising papers, which cannot meet this tight publication timetable may be invited to proceed to revise and resubmit for possible publication in a regular issue of The Economic Journal.

Author should select “Conference Submission” when given the option during the submission process and also be sure to mention in a covering note that their submission is for the conference volume.
February 27, 2012: Deadline for submission of General Session papers to the Economic Journal Conference Volume.
March 26, 2012: Deadline for submission of Special Session papers to the Economic Journal Conference Volume.
