The data are monthly 89:12 -- 95:5 (some observations are
missing).
The mnemonics are to be interpreted as follows.
Fg91 is the series of actual fixed-event forecasts of output
growth (g) in 1991.
Fy91 is the series of fixed-event forecasts of output (y)
in 1991.
Fp91 is the series of fixed-event forecasts of inflation (p)
in 1991.
F8g91 is the series of `mechanical' fixed-event forecasts
of output growth (g) in 1991, where the previous eight (8)
single equation errors are averaged.
F4g91 is the series of `mechanical' fixed-event forecasts
of output growth (g) in 1991, where the previous four (4)
single equation errors are averaged. And so on.
