The deadline for applications for grants for Visiting Lecturers and Special Projects is May 20, 2013. Applications are invited from Economics departments in any UK university to suggest the name of a distinguished economist for a visit to their department to whom a fee will be paid by the Society under the Visiting Lecturer Scheme. Members of the Society may also apply for financial assistance through a Special Project grant on a one-off basis for the support of activities that further the understanding and use of economic such as seminars, workshops and mini-conferences, events to disseminate research and policy findings, and activities that support teaching and learning in the subject.
