RES Undergraduate Video Competition 2018

  • Published Date: 16 April 2018

The Royal Economic Society Undergraduate Video Competition is back for a second year, offering students the chance to win £1000 by creating a 3-minute video on a topical economic issue.

Individuals or teams of up to 6 students are invited to create a video exploring how economics can be used to understand current issues. There are no set topics and your video can take whatever form you feel is appropriate (e.g. animation, news bulletin, interview), so long as it is clear and understandable to non-economists and not reliant on economic jargon.

As well as a £1000 cash prize, the competition winners will receive a certificate signed by the RES President and their entry may be shown at future RES events. If you need some inspiration, take a look at last year's competition winner from the University of Edinburgh.

For more information on how to enter and to download an application form, visit our Undergraduate Video Competition 2018 page. All entries must be sent to RESOffice@res.org.uk by Wednesday 27 July.
