Essay Competitions: A number of organisations conduct essay competitions in the area of Economics. We are in the process of compiling a list of these. Please contact us if you have Economics essay competitions you would like us to publicise. As well as our own Young Economist of the Year essay competition, which is aimed at school students, the Annual ICFR-Financial Times essay competition is currently being advertised: this is aimed at more senior economists or commentators – past winners include Hyun Song Shin and Nana Esi Atsem.
